When I picked up this bike a couple years back my thought was “I’ll just replace the stock spring tensioners”, It’s a 2001 Screamin Eagle Road Glide. The priority soon turned to upgrading the Fuel Injection system away from the Magnetti Morelli that was giving me fits, running erratically and was completely unreliable.Cured that issue with a kit from Zippers that included a Thundermax auto tuner & a HPI Delphi style intake. Bike now ran like a top but I still had those chain tensioners to deal with. Decided to go with a SE hydraulic cam plate upgrade, mainly because I was pleased with the SE 203 cams in the bike & didn’t see the need to spring for a complete Kit from Feuling or S&S. Bought the SE kit, ready to install and soon though” as long as I’m in there”… pulled the trigger on the Woods TW6.GREAT CALL. I was pleased with the bikes performance with the stock cams but the TW6 cams behave similarly , just with way more pull behind them. As a bonus I didn’t even have to load a different map onto the Thundermax, cam specs were similar enough to just let auto tune do it’s thing. AND IT DID!
Bike pulls like a freight train with crisp throttle response across the board. LOVE the TW6 cams!
