The Speed Bandit Helmet combines Simpson's long tradition of drag racing design with moto-centric features, revised aerodynamics and a polycarbonate shell. The wide spread of available sizes are broken-down over three unique thermo-injected shells to cut weight and reduce the helmet's overall profile. From an ostensibly spartan vent scheme, airflow to the rider is maximized by Simpson's "Speed Brow" venturing ridges at the helmet's crown. Here, low pressure zones that build over always-open forehead vents pull fresh air up and over the rider's face and into channels molded into the helmet's EPS liner. This Pull Back Plate is specially designed for Road Glide, but will work for Dyna/Softail/FXR models as well.
Bolt it to your stock or aftermarket triple tree to relocate the bar mounts towards the rider 1.5" so that you can mount any standard risers and they will clear the Gauges on 2014 up Road Glides. The Plate adds 2" of total height to the bar/riser on 2014 to present bagger. Holes will need to be cut in the bagger Nacelle for the risers to come through.Please be aware that you will lose the Accessory and Fork Lock positions of the stock Key Switch. On CVO models the stock Steering Lock will interfere and cannot be used. Check with your local shop or dealership for options. Some bikes can be reprogrammed to not need the key switch at all with the Harley CVO Flash.

The fully TIG welded assembly takes place of your bolt on highway pegs and serves the function as a standard highway peg would. However, this mount also serves as a crash bar or as some call it, a crash cage. The front crash bar does what it sounds like it should, it protects the front section of the bike in case of a crash or if the bike happens to fall over. The assembly in fact was designed and built for some local stunt riders to protect their bikes as they were learning new tricks and didn't want to destroy their new bikes in the process. The bar features replaceable delrin sliders on the ends to help the bike slide over the pavement as opposed to taking hold of the bike while it is sliding and causing it to highside. A lot of R and D has gone into the exact placement and length of the bar to ensure enough lean angle so not to impead other types of high speed cornering and still provide the right amount of protection. Allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.
